Recently built 3 bedroom villa (sleeps 6) in a delightfully remote, countryside location surrounded by cultivated farmland and Mediterranean forest. All modern conveniences and décor is warm and cheerful. Private fenced off pool.

Accommodation:
Bedroom 1 and 2 with double beds. Bedroom 3 with twin beds. Two bathrooms (one en suite) with bath/shower over, wc, bidet.
Open plan kitchen, dining, living room. Modern and fully equipped with cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, blender, juicemaker, electric coffee machine, and complete supply of crockery. Washing machine (placed in bathroom).
Open plan living, dining room with two comfortable sofas (2+3), dining table with up to 7 chairs. Shelves full of books and guides (in Spanish, Dutch, English and French). Original prints, photos and paintings on the walls give the place a personal touch.
All linen provided, changed once a week

We now have wireless internet access in the house.

Nearby village of Arriate provides banks, small supermarkets and other shopping facilities, restaurant and splendid tapas bars. Ronda, just 8km away, has both beauty and history. An inspiration to many, it is one of the most visited towns in Andalucía.

Why the owners chose an home in this location
When they came to live in the valley in 1999, it was a bare plot of land only used for breeding goats. But they immediately recognized its potential and fell in love with the peaceful tranquility that the valley breathes. While trying to make a living and raising their son, over the years and step by step, they have tried to develop the place to be a perfect holiday spot for everyone from all over the world who looks for comfortable holidays.

The valley breathes stillness and has a very peaceful feel to it. You will be 'off the world' but still withing walking distance to a lively and pleasant village (Arriate) and only 8kms from the historic town of Ronda. It also lies very central for daytrips to Sevilla, Granada, Cordoba or Malaga. Summers know long warm days and cool nights. And in winter you will breathe the crisp clean air of the Ronda mountains. And because you are surrounded by an organic vegetable garden, you will benefit from the availability of all homegrown produce and fresh eggs. A big plus for families with small children is that you will find the swimming pool safely fenced. And in the house are all the conveniences, like toys, books, high chairs etc.

Dit vrijstaande huis met zwembad ligt in een kleine, stille vallei tussen Ronda en Arriate. Casa Vallecillo (kleine vallei) is een ruim en licht huis, waarbij de eigenaren naast een goed comfort ook voor een sfeervolle inrichting gezorgd hebben. Voor het huis is een terras met een zwembad (8x4m) en daarbij een eigen tuingedeelte. Het zwembad is omheind zodat kleine kinderen geen gevaar lopen. Het huis is bovendien ruim voorzien van speelgoed en boeken voor de kleintjes. Het lager gelegen gedeelte van het terrein is goed geschikt om in te ravotten, of om ’s avonds een kampvuur te maken (niet in de droge zomerperiode). Casa Vallecillo is een nieuw huis dat op korte afstand ligt van de woning van de gastvrije Spaans-Nederlandse eigenaren; Francis, geboren in Ronda, en Lies, in 1995 uit Amsterdam vertrokken en naar deze streek gekomen. Samen (met hun in 1998 geboren zoon Santiago) proberen ze zo veel mogelijk in hun eigen onderhoud te voorzien. Francis heeft aan huis wat dieren en een professionele biologische groentetuin. Lies verkoopt o.a. eigengemaakte jams aan omliggende hotels. Al hun produkten zijn ook aan huis te verkrijgen.

We hebben nu ook een draadloze (WIFI) internet aansluiting in het huis!

Het sympathieke en levendige dorp Arriate, op ongeveer twintig minuten loopafstand, staat bekend om zijn goede en goedkope tapas bars. Ook beschikt het over diverse supermarkten en restaurants. Ronda ligt op 8 km. afstand en is een stadje met vele bezienswaardigheden. Het ligt in het bergachtig gebied op ongeveer 750 meter boven zeeniveau. Een diepe kloof “El Tajo” splitst het stadje in tweeën, waar overheen de beroemde “Puente Nuevo” is gebouwd, van waar af het uitzicht adembenemend is. Casa Vallecillo is heel geschikt voor mensen die de voorkeur geven aan een centrale ligging ten opzichte van de belangrijkste steden, zoals Granada, Cordoba en Sevilla. Bovendien is Ronda omringd door natuurparken, men ademt schone lucht in en kan overal vele prachtige wandelingen maken. En voor wie niet de deur uit wil is er een luie sofa en een goed gevulde boekenkast, die regelmatig wordt ‘ververst’ en een breed assortiment heeft aan vooral nederlandse, engelse en spaanse literatuur.

Casa independiente con piscina privada situada en un pequeño y tranquilo valle entre Ronda y Arriate. La casa está decorada con colores alegres y el ambiente es agradable y calido. La piscina está vallada y la casa está adaptada para que los niños puedan jugar tranquilamente. Tiene disponible juguetes y libros para los más pequeños y una buena biblioteca con libros y guías en varios idiomas en el salón.
En el exterior, hay un huerto con productos orgánicos en el que podrá comprar frutas y verduras de la temporada.

En el simpático pueblo de Arriate, 20 minutos a pie, hay varios supermercados y restaurantes y es conocido por su buen ambiente y excelentes bares de tapas. La ciudad histórica de Ronda se encuentra a tan sólo 8 km, una región montañosa a 750 metros del nivel del mar, rodeado de parques naturales. La casa tiene una situación central para los que deseen visitar las principales ciudades, tales como Granada, Córdoba, Málaga y Sevilla.

En conclusión, la casa es ideal para los amantes de la naturaleza, familias, excursionistas, parejas tranquilas y todos los que busquen un lugar tranquilo para pasar sus vacaciones. Los propietarios (español/holandesa) viven a pocos minutos de la casa, pero su privacidad está garantizada.

La maison, casa Vallecillo, a toutes les commodités modernes et une décoration personnalisée, chaleureuse et agréable, qui vous fera sentir comme chez vous. Dans la maison il n´y a pas de télévision mais une stéréo, une bibliothèque avec beaucoup de livres et guides en plusieurs langues (espagnol, hollandais, anglais, français). La piscine (8x4m) est clôturée pour les enfants. Il y a une pelouse agréable avec chaises longues, un pré pour jouer, faire un barbecue ou le soir un feu (sauf l'été). Les propriétaires, Francisco et Lies, vivent à 100 mètres de la maison, mais l´intimité est garantie. Francisco est né à Ronda et connaît bien la région et la montagne. Lies est venue de Hollande en 1995 pour vivre ici et ils ont un fils. Le couple essaye de se nourrir des produits de la terre qu´ils cultivent et de leur élevage.

La maison est à 8 Km de Ronda, ´le cœur de l´Andalousie´. Habité depuis la préhistoire (dans la grotte ´La Pileta´ se trouvent les premières peintures) Ronda est toujours une de les villes les plus visitées d´Andalousie. A 15 minutes (à pied) de la maison se trouve Arriate, un village sympathique et renommé pour ses excellents "tapas".
